MADIUN – Prestasi membanggakan juga ditorehkan oleh cabang olahraga (cabor) Muaythai juga tidak mau kalah. Cabor yang moncer di gelaran Porprov Jatim VI 2019 ini menyabet 7 (tujuh) emas dan 4 (empat) perak di ajang One Day Fight yang digelar di Blitar pada 15 Desember 2019.
Medali emas dipersembahkan oleh Lutvi Nugroho kelas 51 kg, Andre Noverick kelas 56 kg, M. Fichri A. di kelas 48 kg, Sandi Nugraha kelas 80 kg, Adzani Saputra kelas 45 kg, Viktorianus kelas 54 kg, Michael Sinaga kelas 65 kg.
Sedangkan perak diraih oleh Bima kelas 63 kg, Zalfa Azizah kelas 48 putri, Engelbritus Watu kelas 52 kg, dan Dimas kelas 60 kg. Prestasi ini semakin membuat nama Kota Madiun semakin dikenal sebagai salah satu gudangnya atlet Muaythai yang patut diperhitungkan. (*)
